ABOUT
Chadwick is a visual artist whose work moves between photography, projection, digital image-making, sound, and mixed media. After moving to New York in 2000, he built a creative life across engineering, audio, image production, retouching, and studio leadership. His early career included work at Sony Music Studios, independent film sound design, and creative production environments where technical precision and emotional storytelling were equally important.
Over time, his practice expanded from sound and production into image-making, large-format printing, photographic experimentation, and architectural presentation. He later built and led production studios, worked across product photography and high-end retouching, and developed a visual language rooted in systems, surfaces, optical behavior, and material presence.
The 11Eleven Project brings these histories together as a lifelong structure: eleven series, each with its own style and medium, laid out in advance to hold a life's work. Each series uses a different process to explore how images hold memory, beauty, discomfort, pattern, light, and meaning. Rosette, the first of the eleven, tells stories from Chadwick's own life in halftone dots: in printing, a rosette is the small flower-like pattern that forms when a printed image's overlapping dot screens find their balance, and the series uses it to carry his symbolism, his beliefs, and his thinking: the groundwork for everything that follows. Double Exposure moves into projection, photography, vulnerability, and the human form: a series about unity, projecting images of the human condition, war and starvation among them, onto a body that stands in for humanity itself, its beauty built to draw viewers close before its hardest images ask them to look. Elements turns toward matter itself, studying elemental forces at both visible and microscopic scales. Singularity returns once again to telling stories through geometry and halftone dots: the newest work, circling the beginning of life and the beginning of intelligence, and holding open the question of whether they are the same beginning.

Chadwick's work is designed to exist as both image and object. It asks how a surface can shift when light moves across it, how memory can become pattern, and how beauty can invite viewers close enough to confront something deeper.
